If FOOD is your priority, hit this place up. Everything my wife and I ordered was amazing. The Jerk Salmon and Chicken Curry were both perfectly cooked and seasoned and the collard greens were the best I've ever had. Could definitely use some new booth seats, etc., but that's not stopping me from saying this was the best meal I had in my three days in Roanoke - where we definitely did some fine dining. This place is a gem. Anthony Bourdain would have loved it.
I adored the atmosphere, it was lively and fun, everyone was incredibly attentive and friendly. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars because this place is an absolute gem! The food was so flavorful and prices were great. I got the oxtail with the calypso mocktail and it was incredible
I came here with some friends a couple weeks ago and had an amazing time! The food was delicious and the service was great. We spoke with one of the owners and he was very friendly and fun to talk with. I look forward to eating there again in the future!
Very nice casual dining experience. I go as often as I can. The braised oxtail is a real highlight of a meal. Price is reasonable for the portions.
So once again my favorite Jamaican spot has left me full and happy. Celebrated my birthday there this evening with family. Started with the Bob Marley cocktail that was really good, Jerk chicken is amazing, this is my favorite jerk ever, Red snapper was cooked perfectly and wonderfully flaky.Brown stew chicken is also really good. Some of the best Mac & cheese ever, candied yams are a must and you have to do coconut cake. The owners and staff are always so wonderful, and create an amazing relaxing atmosphere, This is a MUST GO TO if in the area.
Amazing food, amazing service, and it's just an amazing place, I absolutely loved everything about it. I came from Florida, and nothing I've had can compare to this absolutely fantastic place, I highly recommend this lovely restaurant, I wish I could rate it more stars. Please come here, it's amazing, this is the best place I've ever been. Thank you for having us, we loved the food. I can't wait to come back when we visit Virginia again.
Awesome food! Best plantains we've ever had. The owners take a personal interest in their customers and are very sweet. We mentioned it was our anniversary and they surprised us with a song and cake. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend
I came here a few weeks ago with friends, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was just as impressive. What really stood out was the hospitality—one of the owners personally came over to introduce themselves and chat with us, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. You can really tell they care about their guests. Definitely a place I’d recommend and return to!
